ABOUT

California emo band Ghosting was formed in late 2018 by guitarist/vocalist Craig Tally and bassist Bo Zhang after the two met at a show in San Francisco. Shortly after, they found and recruited drummer Hansel Von Muller and starting writing the first EP “Never Better,” which released in 2019. One year later, they worked on and released a 2 track Mini EP, which featured Eric Tally on saxophone and Mike Humphries on trumpet. The two added a unique blend of horns with the punchy emo math rock style.

When the pandemic hit in 2020, the band took a bit of an extended break. Craig still continued writing demos and tracks for the next two years. Their first full-length album “See You Around” was released in June 2022. When writing the album, the decision was made to add Eric and Mike to the band permanently. Now at 5 members, saxophone and trumpet in the mix further evolves and pushes their unique sound. The 10-track album is chock full of shouty sing-along anthems, while flowing with fast-paced pop punk energy. Throwing tasteful melodies of ska-esque horns in the mix, the twinkly emo style Ghosting is known for still remains and is catchier than ever. Shortly before the album was released, Bo left Caliornia to go live in New York. Ghosting found their new virtuoso bassist, Keenan Lewis. The band continues to play live shows with the newest lineup.
